Job summary

The Nielsen Company is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, build, and maintain its critical network infrastructure across offices, data centers, multiple cloud regions, and a large-scale WAN environment.

You will evolve and modernize network architecture, work with core network teams, NOC, and Cyber Security to ensure performance, reliability, and security, and serve as a primary escalation point for complex incidents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and maintaining network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of core networking, routing, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS/DHCP.
• Experience with leading vendors (Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and basic cloud networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure network infrastructure across offices, data centers, and multi-cloud environments.
• Monitor network health and performance; troubleshoot connectivity and routing issues.
• Administer core network services including firewalls, load balancers, DNS/DHCP.
• Collaborate with network, NOC, and cybersecurity teams on architectural decisions and engineering initiatives.
• Lead network projects, mentor junior engineers, and act as escalation point for critical incidents.
