Sutherland is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, secure, and optimize enterprise networks that span on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in routing, switching, wireless networking, and network security.
• Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise, or mission-critical environments.
• Experience working with Cisco, Palo Alto, F5 or similar enterprise technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking solutions.
• Lead network transformation, upgrade, and modernization initiatives.
• Develop architecture standards, technical documentation, and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative networking solutions.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex network incidents and outages.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive permanent solutions to recurring issues.
• Proactively monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and reliability.
• Participate in incident response and on-call support activities when needed.
• Implement and manage network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, NAC, segmentation, and secure remote access.
