Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Engineer to design, implement, and support large-scale LAN/WAN infrastructure in a global, 24x7 environment. You will troubleshoot routing and switching, manage Cisco wireless, SD-WAN, and ACI-related tasks, and lead major incident investigations.

You will work with Cisco, Infoblox, and F5 technologies in a healthcare/enterprise setting, ensuring robust security and high availability across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or healthcare environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues.
• Configure and manage BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP; HSRP/VRRP; VLANs; STP/RSTP/MSTP; EtherChannel/LACP; QoS.
• Lead major incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Administer Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and APs; configure SSIDs and mobility groups.
• Deploy and support Cisco SD-WAN; manage overlay/underlay connectivity and policy-based routing.
• Provide Level-3 support for P1/P2/P3 incidents; mentor L1/L2 engineers.
