Qualifications

• At least five years of on-the-job routing and switching in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on with LAN/WAN/MAN technologies.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus and Palo Alto next-gen firewall platforms.
• Experience with load balancing platforms, preferably F5 LTM and GTM.
• Hands-on with AWS / Transit Gateway / AWS Network Manager / Route Analyzer / CloudWatch (1+ year).
• Network architecture experience, including design, reference architecture and documentation.
• Experience with modern routing protocols.
• Experience designing and supporting hybrid networks leveraging Direct Connect.
• Experience integrating on-premise and cloud networks.
• Strong working knowledge with Cisco ISE.
• Proficiency with ACLs, TCP/IP; VLAN, Traffic Shaping, QoS, IP routing.
• Ability to communicate across teams and create a network technology roadmap.
• Automation using Python/Shell, Terraform, Ansible, Git; CI/CD; cloud networking in AWS/Azure would be assets.

About this job

We are looking for a Senior Networking Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The Senior Networking Engineer will be responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of our networking environment. Qualified candidate must have significant on the job Cisco experience along with related experience in Infrastructure / Networked environments with hardware (routers, switches, firewall, etc.), software (IOS), network security practices, designing, planning and implementing LAN-MAN-WANs using the industry standard technologies.

• Ability to communicate well within and across teams; foster relationships throughout the organization, and build trust amongst peers through demonstrated strong job performance.
• Proficiency in infrastructure management and automation using Infrastructure as Code (Python/Shell scripting, Terraform, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines), as well as experience with cloud networking environments in AWS and Azure, would be considered assets.

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $320,000 per year.
