Job summary

Okada Manila is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage complex LAN/WAN and cloud-based networks. You will lead network projects, enforce security policies, and collaborate with cybersecurity experts and developers to ensure reliable, scalable network infrastructure.

The role requires 5–7 years of network administration experience, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP and OSPF, and hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Network Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in network administration.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and VPN.
• Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto devices.

Responsibilities

• Network Design & Implementation for LAN/WAN and cloud networks.
• Network Management: configure, install, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs.
• Performance Optimization: monitor health, perform improvements for reliability.
• Security Management: develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.
• Troubleshooting & Support: resolve complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain network configurations and reports on performance and changes.
• Project Leadership: lead upgrades, migrations, and new implementations within budget and scope.
• Collaboration: work with IT staff, cybersecurity, and developers for seamless operation.
• Compliance & Best Practices: ensure operations meet industry standards and stay updated on best practices.
