Job summary

Percepta is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Mexico City for a 100% remote role with periodic onsite visits. You will design, implement, and support our global enterprise network across on-premises and AWS, leading security, routing, switching, and cloud networking initiatives.

You’ll collaborate with Infra, Security, and Systems teams to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available networks, while driving modern, cloud-first architecture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Networking, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
• Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, SD-WAN, BGP/OSPF)
• Hands-on experience administering Palo Alto Networks firewalls, VPNs, and security solutions
• Experience designing and supporting AWS networking (VPCs, Transit Gateway, hybrid connectivity)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and network segmentation
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and change management
• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Ansible) is preferred
• Certs such as CCNP, PCNSE, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty are a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, branch locations, and AWS
• Manage Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and security policies
• Manage Cisco Nexus and Meraki networking infrastructure, including SD-WAN and WAN
• Design and maintain AWS networking components (VPCs, Transit Gateway, hybrid connectivity)
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues
• Lead network infrastructure projects and data center migrations
• Document network architecture and procedures
• Evaluate new networking technologies and drive improvements
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical operations
