Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments. The role emphasizes high availability, troubleshooting, and security, with collaboration across IT teams on projects.

You will work remotely from the Philippines with a focus on scalable networking, cloud networking awareness, and ongoing professional growth within a diverse, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching).
• Hands-on experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar).
• Experience in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Implement network security measures and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support system integrations and infrastructure projects.
