Digits Trading Corporation is seeking a Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer to ensure reliability, security, and performance of network, server, and CCTV infrastructure across our retail and F&B sites.
The role addresses gaps in network monitoring, patching, ticket management, documentation, backup/DR, and security controls while leading infrastructure improvement projects from planning through implementation and stakeholder reporting.
The Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the reliability, security, performance, and continuous improvement of DTC/TFG’s network, server, and CCTV/surveillance infrastructure across all retail and F&B sites.
The role will address existing operational gaps in network monitoring, infrastructure patching, ticket management, documentation, backup/DR, and security controls, while leading infrastructure improvement projects from planning through implementation and stakeholder reporting.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, technically strong, and comfortable owning infrastructure uptime, security, and operational outcomes across a multi-site, multi-brand environment.
Administer and maintain CCTV systems across all DTC/TFG sites, including:
IP cameras
NVR/DVR systems
Storage infrastructure
CCTV viewing and management platforms
Monitor camera uptime, storage capacity, and footage retention.
Proactively identify and resolve camera outages, storage failures, recording issues, and coverage gaps.
Coordinate CCTV installation, relocation, expansion, and upgrade projects for new, renovated, and existing sites.
Work closely with CCTV vendors and site teams to ensure proper installation, configuration, testing, and handover.
Manage CCTV user access and permissions in accordance with company security and data privacy policies.
Respond to authorized footage requests from HR, Loss Prevention, Legal, and other approved stakeholders within agreed turnaround times.
Maintain accurate CCTV documentation, including camera inventories, locations, configurations, and system diagrams.
Design, implement, administer, and continuously improve:
LAN/WAN infrastructure
Wi-Fi networks
VPN connectivity
Site-to-site connectivity
Network segmentation
Internet connectivity
Perform daily reviews of network monitoring dashboards covering bandwidth utilization, device health, connectivity, uptime, and security alerts.
Proactively identify potential issues and resolve or elevate them before they impact business operations.
Administer network devices, including switches, routers, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, and related appliances.
Manage network device accounts, firewall rules, access controls, and security configurations.
Audit network environments for unauthorized access, configuration irregularities, and security risks.
Apply approved network patches, firmware updates, and security updates within defined maintenance windows.
Maintain current:
Network diagrams
IP address schemas
Device inventories
Configuration records
Firewall documentation
Change logs
Lead bandwidth planning, network segmentation, redundancy, and capacity improvement initiatives for new and existing stores, offices, warehouses, and other facilities.
Ensure network infrastructure is designed with appropriate availability, security, and scalability.
Administer and support on-premise, cloud, physical, and virtual server environments supporting business-critical applications such as:
Oracle EBS
OMS
POS systems
Other enterprise applications and infrastructure services
Monitor server performance, availability, resource utilization, and capacity.
Perform server patching, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
Administer Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and/or Hyper-V.
Administer server, administrator, and service accounts following least-privilege principles.
Conduct periodic access reviews and remove or modify unnecessary access.
Execute, monitor, and validate backup routines.
Regularly test backup restoration procedures and identify backup failures or gaps.
Support and improve the company’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities.
Participate in infrastructure capacity planning and lifecycle replacement initiatives.
Lead root-cause analysis for recurring server and infrastructure incidents.
Implement permanent corrective actions rather than relying solely on temporary workarounds.
Maintain secure configurations across network, server, CCTV, and infrastructure platforms.
Apply security patches and firmware updates within approved maintenance windows.
Monitor infrastructure for unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and abnormal activity.
Enforce least-privilege access for administrative and service accounts.
Conduct periodic reviews of privileged accounts and infrastructure access.
Maintain appropriate firewall, VPN, network segmentation, and access‑control policies.
Support IT security initiatives, audits, and compliance requirements.
Ensure infrastructure changes follow established change management procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date tickets for network, server, CCTV, and infrastructure incidents.
Ensure ticket records contain clear troubleshooting steps, findings, resolutions, and relevant technical documentation.
Monitor ticket SLA performance and proactively exacerbate potential SLA breaches.
Conduct incident investigation and root-cause analysis for major or recurring issues.
Track recurring infrastructure incidents and implement preventive measures.
Maintain operational dashboards and monitoring tools.
Provide timely updates to the IT Head and affected business stakeholders regarding:
Major incidents
Service interruptions
Planned maintenance
Infrastructure changes
Project progress
Ensure infrastructure issues are communicated clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and current infrastructure documentation, including:
Network topology diagrams
IP address plans
Device inventories
Server inventories
Firewall rules
Configuration records
CCTV inventories
Backup procedures
Recovery procedures
Change logs
Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for infrastructure operations.
Ensure infrastructure knowledge is properly documented and shared within the IT team to prevent single points of knowledge dependency.
Maintain documentation following infrastructure changes, deployments, upgrades, and site openings.
Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation, testing, handover, and post-implementation review.
Coordinate network, server, CCTV, structured cabling, and connectivity requirements for:
New stores
Store renovations
Offices
Warehouses
New business locations
Prepare technical requirements, implementation plans, and project timelines.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and site operations.
Conduct infrastructure testing and commissioning prior to site go-live.
Ensure project documentation is completed and infrastructure is formally handed over to operations.
Coordinate with network, server, CCTV, telecommunications, and infrastructure vendors.
Evaluate technical proposals, quotations, SLAs, and service quality.
Monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels.
Escalate vendor-related service issues when required.
Work with Purchasing on infrastructure procurement and vendor requirements.
Collaborate with IT Projects, Application Support/Service Management, and site operations teams.
Ensure infrastructure activities are aligned with business requirements and operational priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in network and server infrastructure roles.
At least 2 years of experience in a senior, lead, or supervisory infrastructure capacity.
Hands‑on experience supporting enterprise network and server environments.
Proven experience with enterprise CCTV/NVR systems.
Experience with structured cabling and multi‑site infrastructure deployments.
Strong knowledge of:
Routing and switching
Firewalls
VPNs
Wi‑Fi design and administration
Network security
Network monitoring
Experience administering Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and/or Hyper‑V.
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage.
Experience supporting retail, F&B, hospitality, or other multi‑site operations is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of infrastructure availability and security.
The candidate must hold at least one relevant certification in Networking, Firewall, or Systems Administration.
