Job summary

Sharesource Australia BPO is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join our distributed engineering team and build a new iOS/Android app using React Native, TypeScript, with Swift and Kotlin for native integrations. The role involves end-to-end ownership from architecture to deployment in an AI-assisted environment.

You will work on hardware integration (cameras, LiDAR, depth APIs) and spatial technologies (ARKit, RoomPlan, ARCore) across the full lifecycle, with trunk-based development

Qualifications

• Strong experience building production iOS and Android apps.
• Proficiency with React Native and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a high-quality cross‑platform mobile app using React Native and TypeScript for iOS and Android.
• Develop native functionality in Swift and Kotlin when needed.
• Integrate with mobile device hardware such as cameras, LiDAR, GPS and sensors.
• Create integrations with ARKit, RoomPlan, RealityKit and ARCore.
• Design interfaces between React Native and native modules; own end‑to‑end quality.
• Contribute to CI/CD and automated testing in an AI-assisted environment.
