Job summary

A leading technology provider based in Taguig is seeking a seasoned software developer for developing cross-platform mobile apps using React Native. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud services like AWS or GCP. This role also involves mentoring junior developers and optimizing app performance.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of software development with 4+ years in React Native.
Proficient in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux or Zustand, and React Navigation.
Experienced with REST and GraphQL APIs, Expo, Fastlane, Firebase, and OTA update management.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native for iOS and Android.
Integrate apps with REST/GraphQL APIs and implement offline-first features for field operations.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure a responsive and user-friendly experience.
Optimize app performance and ensure consistent functionality across devices.
Support cloud deployments on AWS/GCP and handle OTA updates and app signing.
Write clean, testable, and documented code with unit/integration tests (Jest, Detox).
Work closely with backend, QA, and product teams for end-to-end feature delivery.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving tools, performance, and security.
