Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Senior Officer/Assistant Manager with mining and geology expertise to manage mine planning, scheduling, and resource estimation. The role focuses on delivering quality blends of limestone and related materials, while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards.

The position requires experience in deposit evaluation, data management, and cross-functional coordination with operations to ensure timely submissions and optimal plant performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Master's in Geology with relevant mining sector exposure.
• Experience in mine planning, scheduling, or geology-based resource evaluation is preferred.
• Knowledge of mining software and block-model concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual and monthly mine plans and schedules to support blend plans for limestone, clay, and laterite supply.
• Assist in maintaining quality metrics (SO3, Cl, Fe, LSF) and ensure compliance with mining regulations.
• Perform reserve estimation, data compilation, and reporting to support budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate with shift teams to deploy equipment and ensure adherence to plan timelines.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and statutory compliance across mining operations.
