Job summary

Hallmark Mining Corporation is seeking a Project Geologist to support mining operations by analyzing geological data, ensuring efficient resource extraction, and maintaining safety and environmental standards. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in mining environments.

You will conduct surveys, collect data from exploration, drilling and mining activities, and help develop geological models for mine planning and grade control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology
• Knowledge of geological software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct geological surveys and sampling to identify resources.
• Collect and manage geological data from exploration, drilling, and mining activities.
• Maintain accurate records and databases of geological information.
• Supervise and guide field crews in geological sampling and data collection.
• Provide guidance on geological methods, safety procedures, and operational techniques.
• Assess and interpret geological data to determine size, quality, and distribution of mineral resources.
• Collect, analyze, and report on rock/soil/core samples to identify composition and grade.
• Develop and update geological models to estimate size, shape, and grade of ore bodies.
• Provide geological input for mine planning and design, including pit optimization and underground development.
• Implement and manage grade control programs to ensure accurate extraction and minimize dilution.
