Job summary

Umpisa Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator to design, deploy, and support middleware stacks on Linux and IBM AIX platforms.

You will work with Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Traffic Director, and other middleware technologies to ensure reliable application delivery. The role requires 3–5 years in middleware administration, strong problem solving, and collaboration with development and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of middleware administration/engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Linux and IBM AIX operating systems.
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting middleware stacks.
• CI/CD knowledge and deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and builds new version of middleware on Linux and/or AIX.
• Builds and supports middleware technologies (Oracle WebLogic, TDIR, Fusion Middleware, Tomcat, JBOSS, MOVEiT, etc.).
• Installs software binaries and upgrades middleware components.
• Provides technical support across Development, Test, and Production environments.
• Contributes to middleware design standards and documentation.
• Migrates middleware infrastructure to new versions and supports migrations.
• Supports application deployments and release activities.
