Job summary

iSupport Worldwide is hiring a Senior Middleware Developer to design, implement, and optimize integration solutions connecting enterprise systems, Salesforce, ERP, EDI, and OpenText. You will monitor data flows, troubleshoot issues, and work with stakeholders and external vendors to improve architecture, security, and reliability.

Ideal candidates bring 4–5 years in middleware development, proficiency in Java/JavaScript/Python/C#, and experience with MuleSoft, IBM WebSphere, Oracle Fusion,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4–5 years of middleware development or enterprise integration experience.
• Experience with MuleSoft, IBM WebSphere, Oracle Fusion and Boomi.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, Python, or C#.
• SQL and NoSQL databases knowledge.
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, and scripting languages.
• Security protocols: SSL/TLS, OAuth, SAML.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Experience with EDI, OpenText, cloud integrations (AWS/Azure) a plus.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Senior Middleware Developer to design, build, optimize, and maintain integration solutions that connect enterprise systems and external platforms.

This role is responsible for ensuring reliable data flow and interoperability across customer systems, third-party warehouse platforms, Salesforce, ERP, EDI, and OpenText. The ideal candidate has strong middleware development experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions.

What Is Your Mission?

You will provide exceptional service to our partner brands by:

• Designing and implementing integration workflows between internal and external platforms


• Optimizing existing middleware integrations for reliability, scalability, and performance


• Monitoring data transmissions and validating the accuracy of inbound and outbound transactions


• Troubleshooting integration failures and performing root cause analysis


• Resolving middleware, data mapping, connectivity, and system interoperability issues


• Gathering requirements from business and technical stakeholders


• Coordinating with external vendors on middleware platform updates and technical concerns


• Supporting integrations involving customers, third-party warehouses, Salesforce, ERP, EDI, and OpenText


• Recommending improvements to integration architecture, security, and system performance


• Maintaining technical documentation, integration specifications, and support procedures


• Staying current with middleware technologies, integration patterns, and development best practices

Who Are We Looking For?

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum of 4 to 5 years of middleware development or enterprise integration experience


• Strong experience with middleware platforms such as:




• MuleSoft


• IBM WebSphere


• Oracle Fusion


• Boomi




• Proficiency in one or more of the following:




• JavaScript


• Java


• Python


• C#




• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases


• Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, and scripting languages


• Knowledge of security protocols, including:

• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving abilities

Flexible Requirements

• Experience transmitting and supporting EDI documents

• Experience with cloud integration services in AWS or Microsoft Azure


• Middleware certifications, such as:




• MuleSoft Certified Developer


• IBM Certified System Administrator




• Experience integrating Salesforce, ERP systems, warehouse platforms, and third-party applications
