Job summary

Pine Labs is seeking a senior operations leader to drive merchant onboarding, risk management, and end-to-end operational excellence. You will own onboarding, monitor risk controls, and push for efficiency across the merchant lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Product and Tech to optimize API-based payment routing and lead AI-driven transformations for readiness and growth in the Philippines market.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of core operations experience in payments/fintech.
• 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of merchant onboarding, risk underwriting and settlements.
• Degree in business/finance/operations management or related field.
• Deep understanding of the Philippines payment ecosystem.
• Familiarity with API-based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own merchant onboarding journey including KYC and risk checks.
• Improve TAT and reduce friction across the merchant lifecycle.
• Oversee risk management, AML checks, chargebacks, and dispute resolution.
• Manage SLA adherence and field/terminal operations.
• Monitor metrics, queues, and root-cause analysis for bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Product and Tech to optimize payment routing.
• Lead AI and RPA initiatives for operational readiness.
