Qualifications

• Retail experience required, with emphasis on Paints department.
• Experience in strategic vendor sourcing and procurement strategies.
• Experience managing category promotions and margins.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plans and programs for strategic vendor sourcing & develop programs per category.
• Managing procurement strategies for assigned categories (Stock Plan/Open to buy).
• Develop Category promotions, highlights for revenue drivers.
• Manage category margins that will support bottom line profits.
• Forecast sales, inventory, & margins to support business objectives.
• Provide leadership to direct reports – category managers for performance management.
• Demonstrate and promote organizational vision and mission.
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
