Job Description

The Quantity Surveyor (QS) for MEPFS is responsible for executing precise quantity take-offs, scope verification, cost monitoring, and procurement coordination for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary works. The role ensures strict control of quantities and contract values through rigorous documentation, in line with MCGP’s quality and audit standards for cost discipline and project efficiency.

Key Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
• Minimum 5 years experience in MEPFS quantity surveying within mid- to large-scale construction projects
• Strong experience in MEPFS cost documentation, procurement coordination, and post-contract management
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and BOQ software tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift, CostX)
• Knowledge of MCGP standards such as disciplined cost tracking, layered sign-offs, and zero-based costing
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and reporting skills with a high level of accuracy and discipline
• Exposure to audit compliance, VO tracking, and project controls documentation is an advantage
