You will scrub new accounts, ensure correct billing data, and manage electronic and paper submissions while addressing claim denials to maintain cash flow. The role requires solid billing experience and strong English communication, with opportunities for growth and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Must have solid experience as a Medical Biller.
• Knowledge of medical coding and healthcare billing systems.
• Experience with US hospitals or private practice.
• Knowledgeable about insurance verification.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Positive, helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Bill primary and secondary claims.
• Scrub new accounts and verify data entry.
• Scrub claims to ensure codes and units billed correctly.
• Batch and send electronic claims through the clearinghouse.
• Review and rebill rejected claims after corrections.
• Print and mail paper claims with supporting documentation.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and pre-authorization requirements.
• Communicate with insurers, patients, and providers.
• Document insurance verification in patient records and billing systems.
