You will lead mechanical design, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, perform heat load calculations, and ensure designs comply with relevant standards while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in hydraulic (plumbing) design.
• Experience delivering mechanical building services projects in consultancy.
• Proficiency in Revit or similar software (Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

• Leading mechanical design and delivery across a variety of building services projects
• Coordinating mechanical services with other disciplines, consultants and contractors
• Heat load calculations, equipment selection and system sizing
• Managing stakeholder relationships across the full project lifecycle
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant Australian standards, codes and project requirements
• Conducting design reviews and quality assurance checks to maintain technical standards
• Attending site inspections and resolving technical issues
• Mentoring and supporting junior and intermediate engineers
• Managing project deliverables, priorities and deadlines
