Job summary

Vectrus, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the LOGCAP V program, focusing on mechanical design, review of contractor submittals, and ensuring compliance with safety and client standards.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with PME license, 5+ years in mechanical design/ QA, and experience with HVAC, pumps, and drafting; willing to work on-site and coordinate with multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required.
PRC license as Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME) required.
Valid Driver’s License required for all labor categories in the Philippines.
Must be a Filipino citizen.

Responsibilities

Review contractor-submitted mechanical plans, drawings, and equipment data sheets.
Coordinate sub-contractor mechanical material procurement, delivery, and installation schedule with project timeline.
Design and develop mechanical components such as PACUs, dehumidifiers, pumps, and appurtenances.
Design and review mechanical HVAC systems, fire protection systems, and potable water systems.
Manage and evaluate the performance of mechanical contractors/subcontractors.
Assist in evaluation and billing validation of mechanical works.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines during design and execution.
Monitor and report mechanical design and construction concerns.
