Job summary

V2X Inc in the Philippines is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the LOGCAP program. The role involves mechanical design, review of contractor submissions, and ensuring compliance with safety and client specifications.

You will design HVAC, dehumidifiers, pumps, and appurtenances, coordinate with other engineering disciplines, and support design through construction and commissioning under the Facilities Operation and Maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with PME licensure (PRC).
• Philippines PRC PME license and valid Driver’s License required.
• Minimum 5 years mechanical design & analysis.
• Minimum 2 years mechanical drafting.
• Minimum 5 years QA/QC.
• Minimum 5 years in Google Suite / MS Office / drafting software.
• Minimum 3 years in Environment, Safety & Health.
• Advanced knowledge of Maximo is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor mechanical plans and data sheets.
• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and installation schedule.
• Design and develop components like PACUs, dehumidifiers, pumps.
• Design and review HVAC, fire protection, and potable water systems.
• Manage performance of mechanical contractors.
• Assist in evaluation and billing of mechanical works.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor and report design/construction concerns.
• Support Facilities Operation and Maintenance as needed.
• Respond to mechanical-related technical queries.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and client specs.
