Planate Management Group seeks a qualified Materials Engineer to oversee testing, inspection, and QA for aerodrome projects in the Philippines. You will ensure materials meet specifications and standards, review test results, and coordinate with contractors and labs to resolve quality issues.

The role requires DPWH Materials Engineer II accreditation and extensive experience in earthworks and pavement materials, with strong reporting and communication skills.

Formación

• Must be a licensed engineer with relevant degree.
• DPWH Accreditation as Materials Engineer II is required.
• At least ten years of relevant experience as Materials Engineer II.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and testing procedures.
• Experience with earthworks, concrete, asphalt materials is essential.
• Familiarity with DPWH standards, ASTM, AASHTO required.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, and report-writing skills.
• Experience with airport/aerodrome projects preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee materials testing, inspection, and QA activities for aerodrome projects.
• Ensure all construction materials comply with approved specs, standards, and contract requirements.
• Review material sources, test results, and quality documentation.
• Monitor field and laboratory testing of earthworks, pavements, aggregates, and related materials.
• Coordinate with contractors, laboratories, consultants and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare and review materials reports, NCRs, and corrective action recommendations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
