Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a Materials Engineer in the Philippines to oversee materials testing, inspection, and QA/QC for aerodrome projects. You will ensure compliance with approved specs and standards through rigorous testing and documentation.

The role requires a licensed engineer with a DPWH Accredited Materials Engineer II credential and at least ten years of relevant experience in materials evaluation, testing, and report writing. Airport project experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed engineer.
• Must be a DPWH Accredited Materials Engineer II with 10+ years of experience.
• Proficient in QA/QC, testing methods, and materials evaluation.
• Familiar with DPWH, ASTM, and AASHTO standards.
• Strong report writing and coordination skills.
• Experience with airport/aerodrome projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise materials testing, inspection, and QA activities for aerodrome projects.
• Ensure construction materials meet specifications and standards via testing.
• Review material sources, mix designs, and test results.
• Monitor field/lab testing for earthworks, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Coordinate with contractors, labs, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare reports, NCRs, and corrective action recommendations.
