Job summary

Asian Development Bank is seeking a Principal Markets Development Advisory Officer to lead PSD and PPP advisory, strategic planning and program delivery in Asia-Pacific. You will supervise teams and coordinate technical assistance, research and CPS inputs for PPP-focused country strategies.

The role requires extensive experience in PPP policy, infrastructure finance and international development, with strong stakeholder engagement and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, economics, finance or related field and at least 5 years relevant experience.
• At least 10 years relevant work experience with 6 years of supervisory exposure; international agency experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and due diligence skills in PPP policy, infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and program implementation for PSD, PPP and markets development.
• Provide advisory work on PPP, PSD and related policy issues using international best practices.
• Develop CPS inputs and private sector assessments for PPP initiatives.
• Coordinate AP3F TA projects and trust fund management, ensuring compliance and results monitoring.
• Supervise junior staff and consultants and support knowledge sharing across teams.
