Job summary

TERADYNE is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes within schedule and budget. The role involves implementing manufacturability improvements, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining process documentation across assembly and test operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review ECNs, and support new product transfers while ensuring quality and efficiency at the Teradyne facility in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interface with cross-functional teams across different levels.
• Proficient in MS Office and data interpretation.
• English language proficiency.
• ETS800 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve manufacturing processes within schedule and budget.
• Implement and evaluate designs for manufacturability.
• Troubleshoot process issues and fine-tune processes to reduce defects.
• Perform statistical process reviews on new and existing products.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and ECO-compliant updates.
• Plan workforce utilization, space and tools for efficient layouts.
• Estimate production time and staffing requirements for management.
• Initiate and approve ECNs for reliability and quality improvements.
• Coordinate with assemblers and test technicians to ensure quality.
• Support new product transfers and provide remote site assistance.
