The Senior Manager – Treasury Governance & Insights is accountable for establishing robust control frameworks, ensuring absolute operational accuracy, and delivering strategic reporting across cash management, billing operations, and receivables. This role bridges operational execution with executive oversight and regulatory compliance, ensuring optimized liquidity, seamless inward and outward cash flows, zero-defect audit readiness, and actionable treasury analytics that drive business decisions.
STANDARD RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS
- Treasury Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Standardize and elevate treasury reporting into actionable executive insights, highlighting cash trends, working capital performance, AR aging, and operational bottlenecks.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for billing throughput, collection efficiency, cash forecast variance, and banking compliance.
- Lead statutory, internal, and audit reporting requirements related to treasury controls and financial operations.
- Strategic Ad-Hoc Treasury Projects & Executive Support
- Lead ad-hoc financial analysis, treasury impact assessments, and special projects commissioned by executive leadership or finance directors.
- Rapidly evaluate non-standard payment terms, customized client billing structures, or exceptional operational setups to model financial impact and treasury viability.
- Support capital restructuring, banking partner RFPs, cash concentration setups, or credit facility evaluations as tactical needs arise.
- Serve as a flexible advisory resource across finance, responding to urgent business queries with rapid, data-backed liquidity and risk insights.
- Cash Management & Liquidity Oversight
- Ensure accuracy, control, and daily monitoring of all inward and outward cash flows, ensuring optimal liquidity positions and bank balance optimization.
- Review cash forecasting models to accurately predict working capital needs, short-term liquidity, and funding requirements.
- Maintain rigorous treasury controls over payment releases, wire transfers, and banking administration to mitigate risk and prevent fraud.
- Billing Governance & Operational Precision
- Ensure end-to-end accuracy and compliance in billing operations, alignment with contractual terms, and timely issuance of customer/ASO invoices.
- Establish quality control checkpoints between operational teams, billing feeds, and financial systems to eliminate billing leakage and discrepancies.
- Receivables Management & Collection Governance
- Provide strategic oversight over accounts receivable (AR) and collection performance, ensuring target Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and cash recovery goals are met.
- Develop robust credit and collections governance frameworks, monitoring aging buckets, overdue accounts, and high-risk receivables.
- Drive structured collection strategies and escalation pathways while maintaining strong external client relationships.
Position Specific Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. A CPA / MBA is preferred.
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, financial control, or accounting, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong background in financial institutions (banking) or large multinational corporations with complex global cash operations.
- Proven track record of managing internal controls frameworks (e.g., SOX compliance, audit readiness) in a treasury environment.
