Advance Food Concepts Manufacturing, Inc. in Metro Manila seeks a Treasury Manager to lead cash management, liquidity planning, and credit risk across the organization.
You will manage banking relations, optimize fund positioning, and oversee daily cash activities to support operations. The role requires 5–7 years in treasury (2–3 in leadership), strong ERP skills (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite), and advanced financial analytics.
1. Cash Management & Liquidity Optimization
Cash Flow Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and analyze short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational requirements and strategic initiatives.
Banking Relationships: Serve as the primary contact for banking partners. Manage bank accounts, optimize banking structures, and negotiate favorable transaction fees and credit facilities.
Fund Management: Oversee daily cash positioning, fund transfers, and disbursements. Ensure effective allocation of surplus funds in accordance with corporate investment policies.
Treasury Controls: Maintain robust controls over electronic banking platforms, fund transfers, and signatory mandates to mitigate fraud and operational risks.
2. Credit Risk & Accounts Receivable (AR) Management
Credit Policy Management: Establish, review, and implement the corporate credit policy. Evaluate and approve credit limits for new and existing accounts using financial analysis and credit assessment tools.
Collection Strategy: Develop and execute effective collection strategies to optimize cash collections, minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and reduce bad debt exposure.
Dispute & Delinquency Resolution: Lead the resolution of complex billing disputes and delinquent accounts, coordinating with legal counsel or external collection agencies when appropriate.
Risk Assessment: Monitor portfolio risk exposure, economic trends, and customer financial health to proactively recommend adjustments to credit terms.
3. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Team Development: Lead and mentor treasury, credit, and collections teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Commercial and Sales teams to balance business growth objectives with sound credit risk management.
Executive Reporting: Prepare treasury dashboards, DSO reports, and working capital analyses for senior leadership.
Success in this role will be measured through:
Achievement and maintenance of target Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) levels.
Cash Forecasting Accuracy based on variance between forecasted and actual cash positions.
Collection Efficiency Index (CEI) performance.
Effective Working Capital Optimization, including efficient cash utilization and management of financing costs. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field; CPA, CMA, or similar certification is an advantage.
At least 5-7 years of experience in treasury, cash management, credit, and collections, with 2-3 years in a managerial role leading finance teams.
Strong knowledge of banking operations, cash management, financial analysis, credit evaluation, and collections practices.
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced financial modeling using spreadsheets.
Excellent negotiation, leadership, strategic thinking, and conflict management skills, with the ability to manage banking relationships, optimize working capital, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
