Job description

About PDAX

At PDAX, we believe that the future of money is digital, and our mission is to empower all Filipinos to grow their wealth through blockchain technology. As one of the first crypto firms in the Philippine market, we feel a sense of duty to our users and to the ecosystem to set the standard for safety, ease of access, and reliability. We expect our team to share in this responsibility and cherish our vision of a more open and equitable financial system. We are looking for new team members that are passionate about cryptocurrency, want to work in a disruptive, fast‑growing industry, and thrive in a start‑up environment.

General Responsibilities

The Senior Product Manager owns the product line, key partner relationships, and cross-functional outcomes. This role is responsible for the platform's strategic direction, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance while driving systemic fixes and performance through data‑driven decisions.

Platform Strategy & Backlog
  • Own the product's positioning, roadmap, and prioritization, and communicate direction clearly to stakeholders.
  • Own and continuously groom the product backlog, setting the delivery priorities that Scrum events execute against.
  • Define the problem space and set the feature agenda that drives company goals and OKRs.
Partner Management & Commercials
  • Own the relationship with embedded‑finance partner(s): serve as primary point of contact for integration support, partner with the business development team on the commercial pipeline, run periodic business reviews, and manage partner expectations and commercial commitments.
  • Own the pipeline of new partner integrations (e-wallets, banks, and other embedded‑finance partners), sequencing onboarding against commercial and engineering capacity.
  • Track activation and retention of each partner's end users as the primary success metric for the line, alongside partner transaction volume and wholesale revenue contribution.
  • Lead commercial and build‑vs‑buy trade‑offs per partner, including P&L framing for new partner onboarding decisions.
Delivery & Incident Response
  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of partner‑facing API capabilities (fiat in/out, crypto in/out, quote/trade, KYC onboarding), including go/no‑go decisions and sequencing against partner, internal, and third‑party dependencies.
  • Lead incident response for the platform: assess severity, author partner‑facing root‑cause analyses, and drive systemic fixes, distinguishing partner‑facing incidents from institutional‑desk incidents.
Compliance & Observability
  • Own the product's regulatory and compliance posture. Lead the analysis of regulatory requirements, partner with legal on submissions and positions, and ensure policies are implemented throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Own a partner‑facing API reliability SLA (uptime, latency, error rate) together with engineering instrumented separately from the institutional‑desk SLA, since the failure modes and user impact differ.
  • Define the metrics, dashboards, and alerting for partner‑level health such as activation, retention, volume, and reliability; translate that data into roadmap and partner‑management decisions.
Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years in Product Management or closely adjacent roles, with a track record of owning a product line end to end.
  • Experience in product management techniques such as roadmapping, prioritization frameworks, discovery, backlog ownership, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Experience with embedded finance where a partner’s end users are the ultimate consumer of the product.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive‑ and partner‑facing.
  • Deep experience in Agile delivery; fluent in Scrum and Kanban.
  • Solid grasp of API, mobile, and web development to lead technical trade‑offs with engineering.
  • Commercial acumen: understands financial statements, business models, and revenue streams.
Good to Have
  • Experience managing enterprise or regulated partners, and exposure to regulatory/compliance processes. Strong familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain, and traditional‑finance ecosystems.
  • Strong familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain, bonds/RWA, and traditional‑finance ecosystems.
Our Culture
Communication
  • We prioritize clear and transparent communication, ensuring that there is clarity among everyone we work with.
  • We aim to have a collaborative environment, where innovative ideas in investment strategies are shared openly and constructively, driving the industry forward.
Customer‑focus
  • We think about how our decisions impact our customers and ensure we provide the best experience that we can.
  • We believe in building lasting relationships with our clients, constantly learning from and listening to them, and always striving to look out for what’s best for both sides.
Commitment
  • We always aim to do the right thing and to do the right thing, excellently. We take accountability seriously and uphold ourselves to high standards, ensuring that we execute with attention to detail.
  • We are dedicated to the long‑term success of our clients in the dynamic world of financial technology, maintaining integrity and professionalism in every aspect of our work.
