Job summary

The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited is seeking an experienced Group Regulatory Compliance professional to drive the Compliance Risk Management Framework across GE entities. You will support business units in managing regulatory risks and ensuring obligations under applicable laws and guidelines.

Key duties include giving practical regulatory advice, overseeing policy implementation, conducting risk-based reviews, and coordinating attestation exercises with stakeholders to close gaps

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Insurance, Law, Finance, or a related discipline;
• 6+ years of regulatory compliance, internal audit and/or legal functions within insurance/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory compliance advice to business units and partner on initiatives to address group and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee localisation and implementation of Group policies, standards and guidelines across GE entities.
• Liaise with the parent company for Group-level oversight and information sharing.
• Review products and marketing materials for regulatory compliance with laws and company policies.
• Conduct regulatory gap assessments and monitor remediation actions to closure.
• Collaborate on Enterprise Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (eGRC) platform enhancements and support.
• Provide training and guidance on key regulatory requirements including FATCA/CRS, insider trading and related obligations.
• Conduct risk-based compliance assurance reviews to identify gaps and escalate significant issues.
• Coordinate annual Group-wide Attestation exercises with stakeholders.
• Assist in preparation of meeting papers, management reports and other documentation.
