Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in the Philippines seeks an senior leader to identify, secure, and develop hotel opportunities across Southeast Asia. You will work with developers, investors, and owners to shape major projects from concept through signing.

With at least 8 years in hotel development or related commercial fields, you will analyze markets, lead negotiations, and manage complex deals, coordinating across legal, finance, operations, and design teams to drive growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in hotel development or related commercial field in the Philippines or SEA.
• Strong deal sourcing, contract structuring, and financial analysis.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions from opportunity to close.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with developers, investors, property owners, financial institutions, consultants, and industry stakeholders to identify and secure new hotel development opportunities across the Philippines.
• Evaluate potential projects through market assessments, commercial analysis, due diligence, and stakeholder engagement to ensure opportunities align with growth objectives and partner requirements.
• Lead presentations, proposals, and negotiations with prospective owners and investors, developing compelling business cases and commercial solutions that support long-term growth.
• Manage development projects through the signing process, coordinating with legal, finance, operations, design, and commercial teams to navigate approvals, contracts, and transaction milestones.
• Represent the business at industry events and stakeholder meetings while contributing to growth strategies that expand presence across Metro Manila, key regional cities, and major tourism destinations.

Your day to day

• Build and strengthen relationships with developers, investors, property owners, financial institutions, consultants, and industry stakeholders to identify and secure new hotel development opportunities across the Philippines.

What We Need From You

• At least 8 years of experience in hotel development, real estate, investment, asset management, business development, investment banking, capital markets, or a related commercial field within the Philippines or broader Southeast Asia market.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in deal sourcing, negotiations, contract structuring, financial analysis, and managing complex transactions from opportunity through to close.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships with developers, investors, hotel owners, financial institutions, and professional advisors.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Hotel Management, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline, combined with a highly entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset
