Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a senior corporate accounting leader to drive operational excellence across the accounting team and oversee complex client relationships.

You will manage a team of professionals, shape strategy, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality accounting services while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction. The role emphasizes people management, KPI-driven performance, and process standardization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, team leadership, and service delivery management.
• Expertise in operational excellence: KPI management, capacity planning, quality assurance, and process standardization.
• Strong stakeholder/client relationship skills; able to manage escalations and align team objectives with company goals.
• Proven leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with coaching and mentorship experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead team performance, set KPIs and provide regular feedback to ensure high-quality service.
• Drive operational excellence by optimizing capacity, resources, processes, and quality assurance to meet SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, client agreements, SOWs, and quality requirements across team operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clusters, stakeholders, and clients; serve as escalation point.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, onboarding, training, and development plans.
