Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounting & Regulatory Finance Manager to oversee financial governance for its entities. The role requires ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with tax and accounting rules, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

The manager will drive internal controls, coordinate audits, and support corporate initiatives while mitigating risks and upholding high standards of financial integrity across the group.

Qualifications

• Senior financial expert responsible for financial governance of the legal entities under their scope.
• Ability to communicate and explain financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including regional leadership, tax authorities, regulators and external auditors.
• Ability to mitigate risks under tax and accounting principles and ensure compliance with guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely periodic financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and yearly) in line with group deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain consistency and appropriateness of accounting methods across the Finance Factory and ensure compliance with internal rules.
• Perform financial analysis to ensure quality and reliability of reports and reconcile balance sheets.
• Monitor profit and loss and ensure proper bookkeeping to support reliable financial statements and profitability of entities.
• Support timely delivery of tax submissions and coordinate external tax audits when necessary.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure timely, accurate inputs.
• Support internal audits and closure of findings with controls and guidelines to enhance governance and mitigate risks.
• Foster cross-team communication and proactive issue resolution to protect company value.
• Gather information from Finance Factory to exercise controlling duties over financial reporting and processes.
