Job summary

Visa is seeking an accomplished product leader to develop and execute strategies across key growth pillars, guiding cross-border, affluent and emerging solutions. You will lead end-to-end initiatives, partner with sales, marketing and regional teams, and ensure market-aligned product plans that strengthen market leadership.

In this role you will drive portfolio performance with data-driven insights, manage strategic partnerships, and influence prioritization to meet revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management or related experience in fintech.
• Experience in product development and management in financial tech.
• Roles include product manager, product owner, or sales operations.
• Experience applying Agile principles across design, development, testing and PM.
• Experience building software capabilities to support sales/service/CRM.
• Strategic thinking, analytical skills and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies across growth pillars (Cross-Border, Affluent, Everyday Spend, Emerging Solutions) to drive growth and market share.
• Lead end-to-end product initiatives from opportunity to business case, through implementation and performance tracking.
• Partner with Sales/Marketing/Account Executives and regional teams on go-to-market plans to accelerate adoption.
• Serve as market SME to align local strategies with market realities and client priorities.
• Drive portfolio performance, identify growth opportunities and support revenue objectives, including campaigns.
• Build strategic relationships with issuers, acquirers, fintechs, merchants and partners to unlock opportunities.

Job Description

• Develop and execute product strategies across key growth pillars, including Cross-Border, Affluent, Everyday Spend, and Emerging Solutions, driving business growth, client adoption, and market share.
• Lead end-to-end product initiatives from opportunity identification and business case development through implementation, commercialization, and performance tracking.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Account Executives, and regional product teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that accelerate client adoption and portfolio growth.
• Serve as the market subject matter expert, ensuring local product strategies align with market realities, client priorities, and organizational objectives.
• Drive product portfolio performance by monitoring and driving business outcomes, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting revenue objectives, including launching specific value-adding campaigns
• Build strategic relationships with issuers, acquirers, fintechs, merchants, and ecosystem partners to influence product adoption and unlock new business opportunities.
• Influence product prioritization, investment decisions, and market strategy through data-driven insights, competitive analysis, and client engagement.
• Support the development of long-term market and product plans that strengthen Visa's leadership position across key strategic segments.

The Successful Applicant

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Experience in product development and management within financial or fintech industries.
• Experience in roles such as product manager, product owner, business process analyst, or sales operations.
• Experience in applying Agile principles across design, development, testing, and product management.
• Experience in developing software capabilities to support sales, service, or customer relationship management functions.
• Experience in project management and execution against tight deadlines.
• Experience in strategic thinking, analytical skills, and financial acumen.
• Experience in collaborating across organizations and managing complex projects.
• Experience in utilizing industry trends to develop products and digital offerings.

Preferred Qualifications

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.
• Agile certifications such as CSM and CSPO, or their equivalent.
• Experience in identifying, assessing, and managing tradeoffs in product development.
• Experience in identifying points of failure and formulating error-handling approaches for product resiliency.
• Experience in financial and fintech industries.
• Experience in product development and management as an advantage.
