Keppel Infrastructure is seeking a driven engineer to originate new business opportunities in the Philippines, focusing on sustainability and energy efficiency.

You will manage end-to-end innovation, build multi-disciplinary teams, and strengthen relationships with stakeholders and clients in the low carbon energy sector.

Based in Manila, you will develop new business models, oversee projects and budgets, and drive contracts with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Solid commercial understanding with basic financial modelling and payback analysis.
• Passion for new technologies and sustainability.
• Strong project and stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication.
• Understanding of cooling and service-based business models.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary lean team and take initiative.

Job Description

• Originate new business opportunities, strategize value creation both for Keppel & customer and convert opportunity to contract in The Philippines.
• Be proactive in scouting needs, staying abreast of technology trends and foresights, and translating these into insightful reports
• Manage end-to-end innovation process from strategy, ideation, development to business plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage ecosystem and channel partnerships
• Develop and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients in the low carbon energy sector
• Develop new business models or transform existing ones, including organisational development, capability mapping and operating model change
• Manage project development, budgets and finances
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related engineering discipline with minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Solid commercial understanding with basic financial modelling, payback period analysis, etc. crucial .
• Passion for new technologies and technical acumen to evaluate their relevance in sustainability and energy efficiency.
• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of cooling business and service-based business models, including best practice processes.
• Familiar with management and development for project implementation
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary lean team environment and to take initiative and deliver projects independently when required.
