Job summary

OceanaGold (Philippines) Inc. seeks a qualified Superintendent – Maintenance (Surface Electrical & Control Systems) to lead maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of surface electrical infrastructure across the Didipio operation.

The role ensures safe, compliant operation of power generation assets and HV/LV distribution systems. The incumbent serves as the electrical engineering liaison to regulatory bodies, drives advanced fault analysis, and mentors teams in PLC, DCS, and SCADA

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) – Philippines.
15+ years electrical engineering experience.
10+ years mining or heavy industrial experience.
5+ years in senior maintenance leadership roles.
Experience managing HV transmission and distribution systems.
Experience with power generation assets.
Experience with PLC, DCS and SCADA systems.
Registered Electrical Engineer or Control Systems Engineer (desired).

Responsibilities

Evaluates existing design and applies improvement, checks risks and studies for surety of use.
Enhances engineering design and conducts analyses for viability.
Evaluates and analyzes technology to determine machine reliability.
Runs life cycle costing and reliability analyses to support production and maintenance.
Adopts budgeting techniques and develops action plans for risks.
Acts as SME in electrical and dewatering equipment installation and maintenance.
Reviews proposed project plan changes and provides final recommendations.
Addresses contractor issues aligned with laws and guidelines.
