The role involves mentoring juniors and driving system excellence while operating in a hybrid setup in Makati City. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of Linux experience with NixOS, RHEL, GUIX, and immutable Linux OS, plus hands-on work with routing, switching, and enterprise firewalls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of Linux engineering experience.
• Proficient with NixOS, RHEL, GUIX and immutable Linux OS.
• Experience deploying Linux-based infrastructure, routing, switching and firewalls.
• Experience with nftables, security zoning and stateful firewalls.
• Preferred: Cilium, Suricata, Zeek.
• Strong networking and infrastructure security knowledge; excellent troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and implement Linux-based infrastructure solutions.
• Build, administer, and optimize Linux OS, including immutable platforms.
• Configure enterprise networking and security environments.
• Implement firewall policies, security zoning, and stateful firewall configurations.

As a Senior Linux Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Linux-based infrastructure and systems that support our business operations and client solutions. This position is strategic in nature, requiring both technical expertise and the ability to mentor junior team members whilst driving system excellence across the organisation.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Engineer to support the deployment, implementation, and administration of secure Linux-based enterprise environments. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in modern Linux platforms, networking, and infrastructure security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and implement Linux-based infrastructure solutions.
