Job summary

Exclusive Cars International Holdings Inc. in Makati is seeking a Legal & Compliance Officer to safeguard the company's legal interests across rental, chauffeur-driven, and leasing services.

You will own end-to-end contract review, draft agreements, lead collections-related actions, and manage external counsel while ensuring regulatory compliance with Philippine laws. Directly reporting to the General Manager, you will advise departments and help shape internal policies and risk strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law and active Philippine Bar.
• 3–5 years in corporate/commercial legal practice, contracts, or collections.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine contract, civil law, and transport regulation.
• Experience managing legal staff or external counsel.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and vet contracts and agreements before execution.
• Maintain and improve standard contract templates and clause libraries.
• Advise on contractual risk, obligations, and negotiation positions.
• Ensure contracts comply with Philippine law and company policy.
• Prepare demand letters for unpaid rentals and coordinate with Finance.
• Track response timelines and escalate unresolved accounts.
• Maintain collections and legal case tracker for management visibility.
• Supervise legal team and paralegal staff.
• Select, engage and manage external counsel relationships.
• Allocate caseloads and monitor turnaround time and quality of work.
• Monitor compliance with LTFRB, LTO, SEC filings, and data privacy rules.
• Advise management on regulatory changes and required actions.
• Manage disputes and coordinate with external counsel on strategy and filings.
• Develop and update internal legal policies and SOPs.
• Conduct periodic legal risk assessments across service lines.
