Fleet Management Limited is seeking a Senior Lead Buyer to drive efficient procurement and optimize supply chain operations for our maritime fleet. You will lead a team of Buyers and Senior Buyers, ensuring policy adherence, training on our purchasing platform, and cross-functional collaboration with Global Shared Services.

The role demands strategic leadership, stakeholder communication, and a track record of delivering cost savings while maintaining quality and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of team leadership in transactional procurement and supply chain operations in maritime context.
• Advanced degree or diploma in relevant field; strong vendor and contract management skills.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Experience using procurement platforms and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Lead Buyer teams, plan workloads, and drive productivity.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement for services, stores, and spares for vessels.
• Develop and mentor Buyers and Senior Buyers on platforms and processes.
• Coordinate with Finance and Technical managers to approve invoices timely.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Escalate critical supply chain issues and manage vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with Category Leads and Global Shared Services Lead on improvements.
• Lead annual performance reviews and drive cross-team collaboration.
