Job summary

SMEC, a global engineering and infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect in Pasig to lead landscape design for major projects. The role requires coordinating with international and local consultants and ensuring designs meet tropical and coastal conditions.

Qualified candidates hold a Licensed Landscape Architect credential (PRC) or a Landscape Architecture degree, with 10–15 years of experience in large-scale projects and strong coordination and communication

• 10–15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in large-scale mixed-use or waterfront projects.
• Ability to review drawings and coordinate across disciplines.
• Strong design judgment and attention to quality.
• Good communication and coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Design Management: Lead and coordinate landscape design activities with international and local consultants.
• Design Review (Quality): Review designs from concept to construction stages and ensure suitability for tropical and coastal conditions.
• Schedule Monitoring: Track design progress against timelines and identify delays with solutions.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with Philippine laws and standards and sign-off by licensed Landscape Architects.
• Deliverables Control: Ensure drawings and documents are complete and coordinated; maintain submission tracking.
• Reporting & Support: Report status to Project Manager and attend coordination meetings; support construction-phase reviews as needed.

Design Management• Lead and coordinate landscape design activities.• Work with international and local consultants to ensure a consistent design.• Coordinate with civil, drainage, roads, utilities, and architectural teams.• Support design decisions and value engineering.2. Compliance• Ensure compliance with Philippine laws and standards.• Confirm designs are signed by licensed Landscape Architects.• Support regulatory approvals and permits.5.
