Job summary

SMEC (Surbana Jurong) in Pasig City seeks a Senior Marine Structures Engineer to lead structural analysis for waterfront assets including jetties, piers and breakwaters. You will act as Engineer of Record, overseeing project lifecycles from concept to construction and decommissioning.

• Conduct field inspections to assess structural integrity, verify that construction conforms to design drawings, and make high-level decisions on material or design deviations on-site.
• Author comprehensive technical proposals, manage project scopes, monitor budgets and schedules, and mentor junior-to-mid-level engineers.
• Coordinate closely with coastal engineers, geologists, environmental teams, and marine contractors to optimize constructability in subsea environments.
