Job summary

Q2 HR Solutions is seeking a senior Java developer to join its technology team in a fast-paced environment. You will design and build RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring security and scalability across enterprise applications.

You will collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and developers, optimize performance, and participate in CI/CD implementations. Strong Java 11+ and hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong Java 11+ and Spring Boot proficiency.
• Solid API development, RESTful services, and microservices experience.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ and data patterns.
• Knowledge of design patterns (SOLID) and DDD is desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices with Java/Spring Boot.
• Build secure, scalable enterprise-grade applications.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and devs to define solutions.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure robust logging.
• Integrate services using modern API standards and event-driven architectures.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure security standards, coding standards, and data protection.
