Visa Hunt is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to bolster a high-performing backend project in the Banking Industry. You will build scalable microservices using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Kafka, with focus on reliability and high availability.

You’ll be part of an on-call rotation, remotely in Spain, and collaborate with product and QA teams. The role offers training, career development, and private medical/life insurance perks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a similar backend role.
• Advanced Java (8+), Spring Boot and Kafka are mandatory.
• Experience with microservices, JPA and testing (TDD/BDD).
• Knowledge of design patterns and architecture principles.
• Database experience with PostgreSQL/Oracle/MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• English proficiency at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performing backend services for a banking project.
• Contribute to system design, integration and testing efforts.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident resolution as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software.
