Job summary

Qaracter, a global technology consulting firm, seeks a Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices for banking and financial projects. You will work with Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST/SOAP APIs in an international, evolving environment.

Join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, OpenShift deployments, and modern software practices while staying up-to-date with new technologies and frameworks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java 8/11 and core Java proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud Stream.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs (REST, SOAP, OpenAPI).
• Experience with Kafka and Event-Driven Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java backend applications and microservices.
• Build scalable and robust solutions using Java and Spring technologies.
• Develop enterprise applications with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud Stream.
• Design and implement REST and SOAP APIs following best practices.
• Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka and contribute to EDA initiatives.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
