Job summary

Deltek Systems (Philippines), Ltd. is seeking a seasoned software developer to design, develop, and maintain automation and reporting solutions using Java and SAP BO integrations.

You will analyze requirements, ensure alignment with architecture standards, and participate in Agile ceremonies while supporting deployments and production stabilit y. The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on Java and REST/SOAP experience, strong SQL/DB skills, and willingness to work Night Shift in a globally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–7 years of hands-on development experience in Java development, REST/SOAP APIs, and REST Framework technologies.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database and MS SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of OOP, SQL Development, and application performance tuning.
• Experience documenting business requirements and translating to technical solutions.
• Knowledge of SAP BO, Data Warehousing (DWH), BI methodologies, and reporting tools is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and with globally distributed teams.
• Willingness to work Night Shift.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation and statutory compliance reporting solutions using Java-based data export facilities.
• Support Java applications and integrations with SAP BO.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure implementations align with product frameworks and architecture standards.
• Perform code reviews, optimization, and defect resolution for high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and production support requiring development intervention.
• Provide technical support during test and production deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-location teams to resolve moderate to complex issues.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, reviews, backlog estimation, and status reporting.
• Assist in improving application performance, stability, and maintainability.
