Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. You will contribute to full-stack development across backend services, APIs, authentication systems, and modern web apps.

The ideal candidate has strong Java-based enterprise system experience, frontend frameworks, and integration with identity providers like OKTA, plus database design and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful services and microservices architecture.
• Experience with OAuth2 / OpenID Connect / SAML.
• Hands-on with frontend frameworks (React) and Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring framework.
• Develop and maintain RESTful web services and APIs.
• Build modern front-end interfaces using React and Node.js.
• Design and optimize relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Implement secure authentication and authorization (OKTA, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML).
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical documentation.
• Integrate AI/ML services and APIs where applicable.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and mentor juniors.
