Job summary

Umpisa Inc. is seeking a seasoned business analyst to drive requirements gathering and system analysis across projects in a hybrid setup. You will craft detailed user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prepare BRDs while coordinating with cross-functional teams and clients.

The role emphasizes banking domain exposure, process improvement, and effective KT delivery. You will participate in on-site and on-train engagements in Singapore and Manila, then continue work aligned with project

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in requirements gathering and systems analysis, release management, project management, or service transition.
• Experience with banking processes in loans or deposits.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical personnel and end-users at multiple levels.
• Experience with problem solving, workflow systems analysis, process redesign, user training, and documentation.
• Advanced knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
• General PC knowledge including MS Office.
• ITIL certification is a nice-to-have.
• Nice-to-have experience deploying packaged applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for assigned projects.
• Create Business Requirements Documents when applicable.
• Develop UAT scripts, KT documents, user manuals, and training materials.
• Support the Software/Product Development Lifecycle and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Apply analytical thinking, problem solving, and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct Knowledge Transfer sessions and train team members and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely task completion.
