Job summary

RemotePro.ph is seeking a Senior IT Engineer in a fully remote role based in the Philippines. You will be the Tier 3 escalation point, focusing on building systems, automations, and processes to prevent incidents and reduce ticket volumes.

You will own client environments, mentor juniors, and lead from the front in a fast-moving MSP setting. You should bring 5+ years in IT with MSP experience, strong Windows Server and Active Directory skills, robust networking knowledge, and hands-on RMM/PSA

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience, minimum 2 in an MSP or multi-client environment.
• Deep proficiency in Windows Server (2016-2022), Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Strong networking fundamentals - routing, switching, VLANs, firewall management.
• Microsoft 365 and Azure experience (AZ-104 level or equivalent).
• PowerShell scripting proficiency and automation focus.
• Hands-on experience with RMM and PSA platforms.
• VOIP support experience (3CX or similar).
• Strong diagnostic skills and mentoring capability.
• Self-directed with proactive communication and ownership.
• Long-term mindset and willingness to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex issues across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and endpoint security — diagnosing root causes, not patching symptoms.
• Proactively auditing client environments to catch risks, vulnerabilities, and inefficiencies before they become incidents.
• Building monitoring, alerting, and automation that catches problems early — or eliminates them entirely.
• Leading infrastructure projects end-to-end — cloud migrations, M365 deployments, network overhauls, security implementations.
• Writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts that turn repetitive manual tasks into automated, reliable processes.
• Mentoring junior engineers so that they leave sharper and more capable.
• Communicating clearly with clients and vendors — technical enough to be credible, human enough to build trust.
• Documenting everything you touch so clearly that others can build on it without asking questions.
