Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 5 years of progressive IT administration experience in a medium to large organization.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration, networking, and Active Directory.
• Experience deploying and managing cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and best practices, plus backup and DR solutions.
• Strong scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Architect, install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, network equipment, and software.
• Proactively monitor, analyze, and optimize network and system performance; address issues.
• Oversee user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory.
• Design, implement, and test data backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Develop and maintain robust IT security measures including firewalls, antivirus, patching.
• Lead resolution of complex incidents via the helpdesk system.
• Plan IT projects like system upgrades, cloud migrations, and integrations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of IT procedures, assets, configurations.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement and support.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and users.
• Evaluate new technologies and contribute to IT policies and standards.
