Job summary

IT Managers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Administrator to monitor and optimize the performance of enterprise infrastructure in the Metro Manila area.

You will report on status, implement housekeeping, and coordinate maintenance with vendors. The role focuses on ensuring availability, security, and scalable operations, with strong emphasis on documentation, change management, and collaboration with operations and risk teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience administering enterprise-level infrastructure components and systems.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure availability, performance monitoring, security, backup, and maintenance.
• Experience with infrastructure troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system-level administration.
• Experience coordinating with technology vendors and third-party support teams.
• Strong understanding of IT Change Management, Configuration Management, and IT Service Management processes.
• Experience handling privileged or super-user access and maintaining secure administrative credentials.
• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the condition and performance of assigned infrastructure components and regularly report status, issues, and recommendations to leads
• Perform regular infrastructure housekeeping, including cleanup of unnecessary components, system-level backups, and coordination of vendor preventive maintenance
• Research industry developments, emerging technologies, and infrastructure administration practices relevant to assigned components
• Recommend cost-effective infrastructure improvements, upgrades, replacements, and solutions to prevent technology obsolescence
• Provide technical support and consultancy to Operations, Applications Management, and Risk Management teams
• Advise application teams on infrastructure considerations to support optimal application design and performance
• Communicate and coordinate with infrastructure vendors regarding product updates, fixes, maintenance, and technical support requirements
• Document infrastructure configurations and ensure technical documentation remains accurate, updated, secure, and accessible to authorized personnel
• Comply with established configuration management policies and procedures, including maker-checker controls and IT Change Request Form (ITCRF) requirements
• Ensure proper handling, security, and safekeeping of super-user and privileged access IDs for assigned infrastructure components
