Job summary

Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, seeks a skilled Incident Response Consultant to deliver industry-leading incident response, assessment, transformation, managed detection and response, and training services. You will help organizations detect and respond to threats, reducing business risk before, during, and after incidents.

You will work on engagements including forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage, resolving security incidents quickly and at scale with end-to-end response

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of end-to-end incident response investigations, analysis, or containment actions.
• 5 years of investigative experience with network forensics, malware triage, cloud forensics, or disk and memory forensics.
• 5 years of experience in Linux or Unix.
• 4 years of automation and coding experience in Python.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead large client-facing incident response engagements across cloud, endpoints, and network evidence.
• Codify attacker tools, TTPs, and indicators of compromise (IOCs) for current and future investigations.
• Build scripts, tools, or methodologies to enhance incident investigation processes.
• Develop and present comprehensive and accurate reports, trainings, and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
• Conduct host forensics, network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage in support of incident response investigations.
